Hurhur~ I went for a job interview yesterday!! The job interview was the most awesome interview that I ever had!
Guess what? The interviewees were bought to the canteen to do IQ test paper! So awesome right? And till now, I still can't figure out what IQ has got to do with being a QA Inspector (Quality Assure Inspector). However, it seems like if you fail the test, you are not eligible to be a QA Inspector or even work at their company!! o.o
New? Interesting? Haha!! My initial thought was, "What? An IQ test? Sure GG." and told my friends to prepare to find another job liao because really GG!! 20 questions in total. 17 IQ qns and 3 maths question. YES. MATH. ME GUSTA. 8Dv
So after all the interviewees handed in the papers, we were being toured around the QA area. And just as what I expect, they use microscope to check. The components are so small! Ok, actually not that small but they were tiny components found inside your harddisk and any electric device. I WANT MY RESULTS!!! RAWR!! (The person was still holding on to our papers.)
After the tour, we head back to the canteen and the person brought down the microscope for us to do some sort of 'test' to find out the difference. And other than scratches, I can't spot any difference. ME FAIL. OTL Other interviewees can't too. OTL. And the difference was actually an edge was being chipped off. OAO RAWR!! That one can be seen even without a scope but I failed to spot it! /A\
So... After all the tests, the picked out only 7 people out of the 10+ people. I am included but I am given the position of an operator. Which only work during the weekends BUT night shift. 7pm-7am or 8pm-8am. So... I turned down the offer. Although its $9/hour... ...
And one girl said ok, I'll take the position. The interviewer asked if she is alright and blah blah, her one sentence owned all. She replied, " It's ok, I drive here." OK. INSTANT OWNAGE. \o/
Yes and we were immediately being 'escort' out. =3=
Hurhur, that was my first longest interview ever. 2hours inside the factory!! The factory is quite remote. Its a factory surrounded by other factories. Industrial area, International Business Park to be exact.
The company is Hi-P Quite a cool interview method. LOL with IQ TEST.
